Speech Therapy for Cognition
At Soundwave Speech Therapy, we specialize in helping you return to work or school after your injury or illness. Here are some of the ways we can help:
Return to School
We can develop personalized academic accommodation suggestions to your school or university that will help you meet your learning goals. Schools will often establish a 504 plan or individualized education plan (IEP) for students in middle or high school if academic accommodations are recommended.
Return to Work
We can collaborate with your employer to provide suggestions for accommodations to transition you back to work with success. If appropriate, we can visit your work site to evaluate the environment and identify any specific modifications that would benefit you.
